Forgot your password
If you've forgotten your password, the website sends you a link to set a new one.
Step by step
- On the sign-in page, tap “Forgot password?”.
- Enter your email address and tap “Send reset link”.
- You'll see “If there’s an account with this address, an email is on its way.”
- Open the email “Droplit: new password” and click the link.
- Enter a new password under “New password (at least 10 characters)” and repeat it.
- Tap “Save password”. You'll see “New password saved – please sign in.”
- Sign in with your new password.
Good to know
- The link is valid for 2 hours and works only once.
- The message after sending is always the same, even if there's no account for the address. That way nobody can find out which addresses are registered.
- An email is only sent for confirmed accounts. If you never confirmed your address, just sign up again (see Creating an account and confirming your email).
- “Back to sign in” returns you to the sign-in form without resetting.

I still know my password and just want a new one.
You can do that on your account page under “Change password” (see Changing your password).
If something goes wrong
- The email doesn't arrive: Check your spam folder and make sure you entered your account's address.
- “The link is invalid or has expired – please request a new one”: The link is older than 2 hours or was already used. Request a new one via “Forgot password?”.
- “The two passwords don’t match”: Type both fields again the same way.
- “Too many attempts – please try again later”: Wait about an hour and try again.
