360° photo: the whole location from one image

A 360° photo shows the whole hall from one spot. The visualizer lays it onto walls, floor and ceiling. When room size and camera position match, the hall looks like the photo, and your lights shine onto it.

Step by step

  1. Take an all-around photo from the middle of the hall (2:1 aspect ratio, “equirectangular”).
  2. Click “360° photo” and drag the image onto the area, or click it and pick the image.
Drag the panorama into the area.
Drag the panorama into the area.
  3. The visualizer places the photo in the room and moves the view to where it was taken.
  4. Expand the “360° photo” block in the “Location” area. Use “Rotate” until the stage wall in the photo is behind the booth.
Use the sliders to align the photo to the room.

  5. Use “Camera sideways”, “Camera distance” (from the back wall) and “Camera height” to set where the photo was taken.
  6. Look at the room from a bit further away and change width, depth and wall height under “Room & size” until corners and edges no longer smear.
  7. “From the camera's view” takes you back to where the photo was taken at any time. From there the photo looks undistorted.
