The workbench: setting up the visualizer with the toolbar on the left

The visualizer has a new layout: instead of one long sidebar and lots of buttons at the top, there is a toolbar on the left with seven areas. Only one area is open at a time, and the 3D view stays large next to it. At the top you see which location and which setup are loaded, and the search gets you to any function in two seconds.

Guided or free

At the top left, next to the name, you choose how you work. The visualizer remembers your choice.

  • Guided (default): above the open area there is a step bar “Location → Setup → Event → Film & share” with a question, for example “Where is the event?”. At the bottom, “Back” and “Next: …” take you to the next step, and clicking a step jumps straight to it. Finished steps get a check mark. “Also:” lists the areas that belong to the same step: “Aim” for the setup, “Furniture & decor” and “Check” for the event.
  • In the last step, “Done” opens an overview: what is ready, what is missing (“Open” jumps there), plus “Save setup”, “Save to My locations” and “Print floor plan”. “Work freely from now on” switches to “Free”.
  • Free: the same workbench without the step bar.

In both modes you can jump anywhere with the bar on the left or ⌘K / Ctrl+K. The guide never forces anything on you.
