New song studio – parts, zones, notes and effect chains

The song page has a new layout – like a lighting console: tools on the left, the stage in the middle, below it the whole song in parts and as a timeline, and on the right exactly what you just tapped.

New song studio – parts, zones, notes and effect chains
  • Beatgrid right away: the beatgrid is there as soon as you open a song, the parts follow seconds later – intro, verse, chorus, solo, finale – no AI, straight from the music.
  • Tap a part: give every chorus its own mood at once. If a part is labeled wrong, fix it yourself.
  • Drag zones: drag over the music and decide what happens there – color, short blackout, strobe, fade out, chase.
  • Single notes: tap any hit – or every snare hit in the chorus at once.
  • Link effects: as a sentence, e.g. “LED Spot 1 sweeps from the floor to the ceiling, light white, fades out at the end”.
  • Check show: tells you without AI where it gets boring.

How to try it

  1. Open a song.
  2. Tap a part below, e.g. Chorus 1, and a mood on the right.
  3. Drag a zone over the music and tap Link effects → Sweep up.

Try it with your own rig.
