Song shows hear every hit – hard hits, breaks and impacts now pop in the lights
Until now the song analysis only found the rough parts of a song (verse, build-up, drop) and kept its look within them. Now Show-Designer listens to every single hit and plays up the spots a lighting designer would program by hand.
- Accents and hit series: hard hits of the band get a flash over everything, and the moving heads jump along. In series like the “Thunder!” shouts in “Thunderstruck”, the base light goes down so every hit pops.
- Drum passages, riffs, fills, stops: the lights play along with the drums, the tubes play a quiet riff note by note (e.g. the intro of “Thunderstruck”), a chase follows the fill, and breaks go to blackout.
- Build, impact, ending: the flashes rise before the chorus, the big impact comes on the one, and there is a final flash at the end.
- Dramaturgy like a pro: quiet parts run calmer, loud parts wilder. Verses stay reduced, the chorus gets everything and builds with every repeat, a solo gets its own look. Rock songs flash on the snare instead of a disco pulse. Intros before the first beat now get light too.
- Adjustable: Off / Subtle / Strong and “Hits as” white flash, lightning or color. Family party safety still applies.
