Static Looks: set everything your fixtures can do – with gobos and Thru

You now design Static Looks fixture by fixture, with everything each one can do. In the studio, tap a fixture group below “Your lights in this look” – the settings panel opens on the right while the preview stays put.

Static Looks: set everything your fixtures can do – with gobos and Thru
  • Gobos with pictures: tap a gobo, “Gobo rotating”, prism, focus, zoom, frost, color ring – plus every other channel from SoundSwitch. The preview shows the real pattern.
  • Single fixtures: tap their numbers or click the fixture in the 3D preview, and the setting applies to that one only.
  • Thru like in SoundSwitch: every setting is either set or Thru. A purple note shows which fixtures are Thru, and the pad in the overview carries a “Thru” badge.
  • See Thru fixtures anyway: “Work light” makes them light up white, “with Autoloop” plays a loop underneath – just like later in SoundSwitch.
  • Positions from above: “Show where the light lands” shows every position as a top view in plain words.
  • Movement and fades: circle, scan, oval, figure 8, square and triple 8 with speed, size and direction (forward or reverse) per head, plus fade in and out up to 30 s – just like SoundSwitch 2.11.

Try it

  1. In the overview, open Static Looks and tap a look.
  2. Below the preview, tap Moving Heads.
  3. Pick a gobo under Gobo, prism & more – done, it lights up in the preview.

Try it with your own rig.

Free in the browser, Chrome or Edge on Mac and Windows. Your SoundSwitch original stays untouched.
