Moving fixtures in the 3D preview
If a light in the 3D preview doesn’t match your real setup, you can move it to the right place right in the Studio. The show keeps playing while you do.
Step by step
- Tap “Move fixtures”. The preview switches to 3D if needed, and a toolbar appears at the top of the preview.
- Click a fixture in the 3D preview and drag its handle to the new spot. It snaps onto a truss or stand.
Click a fixture, drag it, then switch to “Rotate”. - To rotate, choose “Rotate” instead of “Move” in the toolbar.
- “Undo” takes back the last step. “Work light” shows a bright room without the light show so you can see the fixtures better.
- Tap “Done” in the preview or “Stop moving” in the bar.
