Playing music from the project

In live mode you can play a song from your project. If it has a light show, the show runs with the music. For all other songs your Autoloops run to the song’s beat, just like on the night with Engine DJ.

The tag marks songs with a light show.
The tag marks songs with a light show.

Step by step

  1. Tap “Music” in the header.
  2. Find the song with “Search songs …”. Songs tagged “Light show” have a song show, “no show” means none yet.
  3. Tap the song. You see “Loading “…” …”, then the music starts.
  4. The music bar appears at the bottom left of the stage:
    • Play and pause.
    • Click in the progress bar to jump to that point.
    • For songs with a light show: “Script” plays the song show, “Autoloop” runs your Autoloops to the song’s beat instead.
    • × (“Stop music”) stops the music.
  5. The Space bar plays and pauses the music as long as no run sheet is open.
