Microphone listens
With “Microphone listens”, the computer listens to the music in the room through its microphone and follows the beat, like a lighting desk’s sound-to-light. That way the Autoloops run in time even when the music comes from another device.

Step by step
- Tap the button showing the beat source in the header.
- Under “Where does the beat come from?”, choose “Microphone listens”.
- The first time, the browser (or the Mac) asks whether the page may use the microphone. Allow it.
- You see “The microphone is listening. Play the music loud enough – after a few bars the lights follow the beat.”
- Play music with a clear bass. After a few bars the BPM value adjusts, and the button shows “Microphone listens”.
- To stop, choose “Tap / manual” again, tap “TAP” or leave live mode.
More from “Live mode”
- Opening live modeLive mode plays all Autoloops, static looks and song shows of your project on the 3D stage, and you control them the way you do on the night: on the computer, on the PRIME 4 or on the Control One. That way you see how your shows work together before the gig.Summary
